Our Space
Parkside Out Of School Hours Care utilises a range of spaces within Parkside Primary School, including a dedicated OSHC Room, school oval, indoor gymnasium, outdoor basketball courts and two playgrounds. OSHC staff create a fun and inviting environment for children to spend time, with a wide range of toys and games available to play. Whether your child needs a quiet place to relax or a space to burn off some energy, Parkside OSHC has your child’s needs covered.

Program Overview
Parkside OSHC is a play-based program. Each afternoon, we offer a balance of quiet and physical activities, with an opportunity for children to sit and do their homework if needed. Children are encouraged to help select their play spaces, promoting independence and decision-making. Educators design activities based on observations and the children’s interests, including Harma beads, gym games, card games, and arts and crafts.
Afternoon Activities
We provide a wide range of activities with access to Parkside Primary School’s outdoor areas, gymnasium, and our designated OSHC room, which is equipped with endless toys and activities for the children to enjoy. Whether it’s outdoor play or engaging in creative tasks, there’s always something fun and educational for every child.
Each Vacation Care program is designed based on the children’s recommendations. It includes a mix of excursions, incursions, and Centre-based activities. We take children to local parks, playgrounds, play cafes, sports centres, performances, and more. Please check the current Vacation Care program for more details.
